A Murfreesboro woman on Anatole Court called police after someone stole her wedding ring and engagement ring. The victim suspects that a local plumber may have taken the rings after being left alone in her bathroom.

When the victim called the plumbing company while police were present, the owner of the company evidently became irate at the accusations. Officer Doughtie with the MPD then got on the phone to speak with the owner and noted that she was belligerent and refused to give the name of the employee.

The rings were valued at over $9,000.

At this point WGNS is not releasing the name of the plumbing company due to the fact that charges have not been filed. Murfreesboro Detectives are looking into the case.
