Linebaugh Public Library at 105 West Vine Street is hosting these ESP students, yes--they're all in the city's Extended School Program. The big event for students and their families is at 6:00 o'clock Thursday night May 19th.

Around 100 students have written and published their own books., and ESP staff wants to celebrate their accomplishment! The evening will include a reception and a few selected book readings from some of the student authors.

Certified teachers and ESP staff have been using the Write Brain Books writing/publishing program this year, which is a writing curriculum that results in a published book. Write Brain Books are richly illustrated, text-less books, which the children use to write stories (fiction/fantasy). To learn more about this program, visit writebrainbooks.com.

Local adult authors have also been invited to show their support for our youngest and newest local authors. This free and open to the public event will be in the Children's Area of the downtown library.
