The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. PrintThe MTSU basketball team was in Florida for a Sun Belt conference matchup against second place FAU Saturday evening. The Blue Raiders started off rather slow in the first half, but built their lead in the second half off an impressive shooting performance. MTSU won by a final score of 67-53 and improved to 17-2 overall on the season and 6-0 in conference play. The Blue Raiders will be back in action next week on Thursday January 19th. Chip Walters has the play-by-play.
