The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. 14-Year Old Shot Near Cason Lane Academy

Shortly after 5:00 o'clock Monday afternoon (2/20/2012) a student was shot in the leg near Cason Lane Academy. Paramedics treated the 14-year old and rushed him to the ER at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Police have arrested seven of eight juveniles in connection with this shooting.
