An 18-year old South Rutherford Boulevard woman had to be taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital after a male acquaintance reported to police she smoked synthetic marijuana.

Murfreesboro Police Officer Daniel Love reports he was called to a South Rutherford Boulevard apartment just after 10 Wednesday night.

The male acquaintance told police they both smoked the synthetic drug but she began vomiting and became unresponsive. It's being treated as an unintentional drug overdose.
