Bees are all the buzz at the McFadden School of Excellence in Murfreesboro. The school has a beehive with what appears to be close to 2,000 or so bees. The beehive is actually in a classroom.

The Science and Math teacher at the school won a grant to have the hive installed. Christa Campbell is a fourth and fifth grade teacher at the school that is operated by the Rutherford County School System. The beehive has been in planning and design for a year. The grant she received for the hive was from the Business Education Partnership which operates under the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
