"It's exciting to return for our 3rd Tennessee Cup in Murfreesboro this Labor Day weekend. Again, we have 200 teams coming from 12 different states plus several from all over Central Tennessee as well," said Scott Spencer, tournament director and Premier Soccer Services president. "More businesses are involved and we have a new interactive exhibitor area this year! We're looking forward to this year and returning for a long time. Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation has been a great partner and the complex looks to be ready for another great event."

Local hotels will also see the impact of the tournament. In 2013, about 2500 hotel rooms were booked in the area and the Tennessee Cup brought substantial revenue to the local businesses. With more teams participating this year, the number of booked hotel rooms will be larger.

Working in partnership with the City of Murfreesboro and the Rutherford County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Tennessee Cup also gives the opportunity for sponsors and vendors to target and interact with families in the local community as well as national visitors. You don't have to travel far from home to have a great time this Labor Day weekend: The Tennessee Cup is the place to be!
