384-Beers Stolen from Kroger Store

16-Cases of beer were stolen from the Kroger store on Lascassas Pike. One case of beer is 24-cans, so 16-cases would be 384-beers. The theft occurred on Sunday afternoon. The suspect evidently stole the beer by placing it in a shopping cart and simply walking out the front door. A Kroger Loss Prevention officer made contact with the suspect outside the store and the culprit took off running. Murfreesboro Police later found the subject hiding behind a tree next to the Food Lion parking lot across the street. The thief was issued a citation for theft.
