3rd Car Stolen from Car Lot

For the second time in as little as three weeks, another car has been stolen from the Ford of Murfreesboro car lot on NW Broad Street. An SUV was also reported stolen at the Toyota of Murfreesboro lot this week. That makes three auto thefts from two different lots in the past 30-days. Police have little to go by at this point and no arrest has been made.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
