It's an all Rutherford County region final in girls. WGNS' Bryan Barrett has a recap of last night's games...

The Riverdale Lady Warriors remain undefeated, winners of their last 53 games, after eliminating Oakland from postseason play. The final was 65-40. Three Lady Warriors were in double figures. Shelbie Davenport led them with 18, Olivia Jones had 16 and Tyisha Petty scored 12. Oakland senior Ellen Riggins led her team with 21. The Lady Patriot's season ends with a 25-6 record.

The Blackman girls scraped out a one-point lead at halftime and led the majority of the second half enroute to a 50-40 win over Columbia. Both teams were ranked fourth in the statewide poll. Alex Johnson led the Lady Blaze with 15-points. Crystal Dangerfield added 12 in the win. Two of Columbia's four losses were to Blackman this year. One other to Riverdale.

Riverdale will play Blackman for the fourth time this year Wednesday in the region championship. Both teams will advance to the sectional tournament Saturday, a game away from the state tournament.
