The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. PrintThe Riverdale girls defeated Oakland 67-43 to claim the District 7-AAA girls championship Monday night behind 24-points from Shacobia Barbee. In the consolation game, Blackman beat Smyrna 57-31. Both Chelsey Hall and Kortnay Cox scored 12 in the win. Tuesday night on WGNS, we will have coverage of the boys consolation game between Siegel and Smyrna and the district championship, which pits Blackman against La Vergne. Coverage begins at 5:45 with Bryan Barrett and Jon Dinkins.
