We have a major update in a case involving a LaVergne man accused of placing an ad on Nashville.CraigsList.org to lure young girls into a photo shoot. You may recall Smyrna Detectives arrested 38-Year old Edward Tarras Jr. on rape charges after he allegedly met with someone who reportedly responded to his ad several months ago. We have since learned from court documents in the Circuit Court of Rutherford County that Tarras will face 19-counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of rape and the court documents show that he is facing one count that states, “sexual exploitation of a minor over 100 times.”

Smyrna Police Chief Kevin Arnold stated, "Our investigation revolved around a posting on Craigslist where Mr. Tarras would ask for young women to pose for pictures for possible publication."
