AK-47, Ammo and Backpacks of Marijuana in Murfreesboro

Murfreesboro Police confiscated an AK-47 that had two banana clips (magazines), a rifle scope and numerous rounds of ammo after a clerk at the Speedway gas station on South Church Street reported suspicious activity. The clerk told a responding officer that the individuals appeared to be intoxicated.

According to the clerk, a man and a woman entered and left the business numerous times within a one hour period. Officers later located the suspect who was driving the black Infiniti sedan on Casbah Run behind the newly opened gas station.

Police report that 19 year old Christian Adams not only had an AK-47 in the car, but also had "multiple backpacks full of marijuana and paraphernalia."

Adams was charged with the manufacturing, sell or delivery of a schedule six drug, possession of a weapon in the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An 18 year old female in the car with Adams allegedly had a small amount of weed in her purse and she was charged with simple possession of a schedule six drug.

Adams and the female charged with only simple possession, will be in court on October 27, 2016.
