Dan Whittle photo exhibit at Arts Center of Cannon County
May 25-June 30, 2012 Dan Whittle's photo art is on display at the Arts Center of Cannon County (1424 John Bragg Highway in neighboring Woodbury). Admission is free to the Marly Berger Gallery. This well known journalist-photographer-author has creative nature photos and captures life in action through the lens of his camera. Middle Half Marathon
Sat. (Oct. 13, 2012) 7AM 6th Annual Middle Half Marathon and Murph's Fun Run. The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. "Alladin, Jr." at Arts Center of Cannon County

This weekend begins a two-week run of Alladin Junior at Arts Center of Cannon County at 1424 John Bragg Highway in neighboring Woodbury. Performances are now through February 19th on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30, along with Sunday afternoon matinees at 2:00 o'clock.

Filled with magic, mayhem, and carpet rides, this musical favorite features an Academy award-winning score with songs including “A Whole New World” and “Friend Like Me.” Join the cast of over 50 area youth, in Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tale! With over-the-top characters and lessons about following your heart, Aladdin, Jr. promises to be a great time for people of all ages.

Tickets for Disney’s Aladdin Junior are $8 and may be purchased by calling the Arts Center box office at (615) 563-2787. A $3 discount for students, seniors or groups over 10 is valid for all performances. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.artscenterofcc.com.
