An alleged drug deal was actually caught on camera at Walmart on South Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro. A 41-year old Rockvale man named Charles Edward Jakes was seen placing pills wrapped in cellophane on a Walmart shelf. A second man was then seen picking up the pills and later handing Jakes a large sum of cash.

Jakes was later found in the area of the store where money orders could be placed. Police spoke with him and the report shows, "Mr. Jakes stated he gave Mr. Johnson four Somas for free. He stated the two hundred dollars Mr. Johnson gave him was money he owed him, it wasn't for drugs."
