The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. Annie Spann is the Toot's OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER! She volunteers at First Baptist Church on East Castle Street. Mrs. Spann checks on elderly residents to see if they need anything or have errands that need running. She is an Educator's Assistant at Mitchell Neilson Elementary, and during basketball season Annie Spann regularly volunteers to work concessions. She is always helping her family, picking-up grandchildren at school and being an outstanding role model. Congratulations to Annie Spann!
