Once again the Annual Willie McGowan Banquet is set to honor community leaders who are making a difference in the African American Community.

The members of the Board of Directors for the Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center are sponsoring its Annual Willie McGowan Banquet at 7:00 o'clock Friday night, March 22nd, 2013 at the museum on 415 South Academy Street. As in previous years, the event is a fund raiser for the museum.

Special Honorees

This year's honorees are (above L-R): the Honorable Keta Barnes, Judge of Sessions in Smyrna; the Honorable Larry D. Brandon, Judge for the General Sessions, Part III in Rutherford County, Rev. David W. Johnson, Pastor of Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and Rev. Goldy Wade, Past President of the Murfreesboro NAACP Branch.

Ticket Information

The tickets are $30 per adult and $15 for youth, ages 17 and younger.  Ticket Chairperson Florence Smith can be reached 615-896-1897 or contact the office of Bradley Academy Museum & Cultural Center at 615-867-2633.  Seating is limited; therefore, the deadline to purchase the tickets will be March 20, 2013.
