For the second time in two weeks, La Vergne Police are seeking help from the public in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery. On Monday, September 8 around 12:30 p.m., the Shell station at 5207 Murfreesboro Road was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash at gunpoint.
The suspect is a black male between 6-ft, 2-in and 6-ft, 4-in and about 250 pounds. The suspect was wearing camo shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt, and a black hat with a red bulldog logo. He was driving a possible 1990s model four-door black colored car. The wheels were black and possibly missing hubcaps.
