Another candidate aims to win the seat currently held by Rick Womick in the 34th House District

Joshua James, former United States Senate candidate, announced his candidacy for State Representative in Tennessee's 34th District.

James, a lifelong resident of Rutherford County, is the husband of a local schoolteacher and father of two. He served his country in the Army and Army National Guard with honor, has a B.B.A. degree from Middle Tennessee State University and is a local businessman.

James made his announcement on the steps of the Murfreesboro Courthouse this past Wednesday, April 27th.

Rick Womick currently serves the House in the 34th, but as heard in past news reports Womick has decided not to run again for the seat. Womick told the media that he will be spending more time with family.
