The Rho Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Middle Tennessee State University is pleased to announce the 16th Annual AOII “Smoke Out Arthritis” BBQ to benefit the organization’s international philanthropy: Arthritis Research and Juvenile Arthritis Research.
The BBQ will take place on Thursday, October 24, at MTSU’s Walnut Grove from 4:30‐6:30 pm. Tickets are $7 in advance or at the gate. The fundraiser will be occurring before the MTSU vs. Marshall blackout football game and will include a silent auction.
Through the efforts of the Arthritis Foundation as well as collegiate and alumnae chapters, Alpha Omicron Pi has been able to provide grants to fund research for treatments, causes, and cures of Arthritis. Arthritis is the number one leading cause of disability in the United States, affecting nearly 1 in 3 adults, half of which are women. The Rho Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity has been recognized both on the collegiate and international levels for its contribution to the philanthropic and service arenas.
