An armed robbery was reported at an apartment complex on South Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro on Monday morning. The incident unfolded at University Ridge Apartments around 1 AM.

According to the resident who spoke to police, a masked man entered the apartment and tried to make his way into the victims bedroom. The resident told officers the unknown intruder was armed with a pistol.

A second victim told police the robber forced his way into the shared apartment as he was opening his door to walk outside. A third resident was chased to his bedroom inside the same apartment, but was not injured.

The only thing taken in the robbery was a small amount of cash ($60 total) and one cell phone.

At this point, an arrest has not been made.
