Looking back to the March incident, the police report stated that 43 year old Brewer told Jones that he was calling the police, which is when Jones reportedly picked up a machete that was at the campsite. Brewer says that Jones started swinging the machete at him and he feared for his life.

On Monday (6/20/16) suspect Chad Jones was apprehended. Police received word that he was at a home on Pecan Court. Officers went to the home and arrested Jones on charges of Aggravated Assault and Vandalism. His court date will be set in the near future.

Jones remains behind bars at this time.
