A man and a woman staying at the Knights Inn on S. Church Street in Murfreesboro were both arrested when police responded to the Motel in reference to a noise complaint on Tuesday morning.

In 2002, 46-year old Roy Guy Williams plead guilty to "Grand Theft" and "Uttering a Forged Instrument" in Florida. His past evidently caught up to him during his visit to Murfreesboro. On Tuesday, Williams was charged with being a "Fugitive from Justice," Florida authorities told Murfreesboro Police they would extradite the suspect.

Also arrested was 26-year old Brandie Morrison who was wanted by police in Indiana. She was sharing the room with Williams, according to the report. Like Williams case, Indiana authorities confirmed they would extradite Morrison who was also charged with being a fugitive from justice. In addition to being a fugitive, she faces a secondary charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.

To make the arrest more complicated, a newborn child was found to be living in the motel room with Morrison and Williams Tuesday morning before sunrise. As a result, the MPD contacted the Department of Children Services. An agent went to the scene and took custody of the infant. The police report did not specify who the parents of the infant were.

At this point, Indiana and Florida have yet to retrieve their inmates.
