(MURFREESBORO) Around 2:20 Saturday afternoon (11/27/2021) a red Ford pickup left a narrow neighborhood roadway, traveled through a yard, hit a shallow hole filled with water and mud. The vehicle then overturned and caught on fire.
When Murfreesboro Fire-Recue's engine #3 arrived on Floyd Avenue, the quickly extinguished the fire and treated the occupant. Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services transported the injured person to the ER.
Floyd Avenue intersects with South Rutherford Boulevard, and is near Bradyville Pike. This occurred in a heavily populated subdivision, but thanks to the cold weather there were no children playing in the streets.
