Murfreesboro Police are investigating an attempted abduction that reportedly occurred on Sunday. A group of ten children were playing in a yard near Rambush Drive when an unknown man pulled up and asked them to get in his vehicle. The kids ran into their garage screaming after the man approached.

Authorities believe the man was driving a silver sedan and may have been wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the number 9 on the front.

A second attempted abduction was reported on Chariot Drive in Murfreesboro, about ten miles away from the first attempt. Police are not sure if the two are connected. Both cases are being investigated.
