Attempted Aggravated Robbery at S.E. Broad Dollar General

  Email   Print

A quick thinking cashier at the Dollar General Store on Southeast Broad may have prevented an armed robbery. Murfreesboro Police were called to the store just before 10:40 Sunday night after the cashier reported two black males in ski masks, one with a gun, tried to enter the store. The cashier told authorities she was waiting on the alarm to be set by another worker when they saw the two suspects. Both ran to the back office and while talking with police could see the men trying to get in the front door on video surveillance. The subjects fled just before police arrived. The investigation into the incident continues.
