A woman almost had her purse snatched in Murfreesboro on Thursday afternoon. The incident sparked a call to the Murfreesboro Police K-9 unit in an effort to track down the culprit (or possibly two culprits) in this case.  Sgt. Kyle Evans confirmed that no one was injured in the incident and that the purse was not actually taken. He also confirmed that the police dog was unable to track down the suspect(s). No arrest was made. Details on the case will be available Friday afternoon.
