Have you ever wanted to meet new friends around the world? Become a ham radio operator and talk to people in exotic far away lands. The local Stones River Amateur Radio Club and ARES encourage you to be a part of this free class that will help you pass the FCC exams and get your amateur radio license.

Amateur radio operator David Wilson, KU4B, is teaching the class based on material from the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). It meets on Saturday afternoons at 3:00 P.M. at the fire station at 2785 Barfield Road in Murfreesboro. David has created a website with some information on the class. Visit http://wwns.com/ham_class/.
