Blackman's Taeler Dowdy had 266-yards on 36 carries and four touchdowns to lead the Blaze to a 56-28 win over Siegel.

Blackman jumped up 21-0 in the first quarter and three-seconds of the second. Siegel's Rodney Murray had a 10-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to cut it to 21-7. But Miller Armstrong found Amari Burks on a 10-yard pass just before half to put the Blaze back out in front 28-7.

After going up by three scores in the third, a snap into the endzone by Blackman gave Siegel the safety and some momentum. Down 35-16, the Stars score on a 17-yard pass from Jordan Middleton to Michael Scruggs. The score was 35-22 after a failed two-point conversion.

Then with 9:40 left in the game, Dowdy found paydirt again...

The score gave the Blaze a 42-22 lead. Despite a Greedy Howse 29-yard touchdown run with 7:25 to go, the Stars would not get closer. Miller Armstrong scored his second rushing touchdown of the night with 3:42 to go to seal the win. They'd tack on another score by Master Teague for the 56-28 final.

The Blaze will travel to Maryville next Friday night in the quarterfinals.
