It took an extra four-minutes for Blackman to beat Siegel. After being tied at 52 in regulation, the Blaze beat the Stars 60-56 in overtime. The Stars led 46-39 with just under four-minutes to play. Blackman raced back and had two shots to win in regulation that fell away. Mr. Basketball finalist Darius Thompson had 23 in the win, 13 in the second half. Ryan Jones led Siegel with 17. Blackman will host Ooltewah Monday night at 7 in the sectional tournament, while Siegel travels to Bradley Central. WGNS will broadcast the Siegel road game, then the second half of the Blackman game. Coverage begins at 5:45pm Monday. Monday winners are in the boys state. For WGNS Sports, I'm Bryan Barrett.
