The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. Blackman Cheerleaders Win Big

PrintBlackman High School Cheerleaders have won two national awards and $24,000. The football/competition cheerleading team won the Universal Cheerleaders Association's American School Spirit Award. The team also won the Playtex Sport Unstoppable Trip to the Nationals contest. There are 23-teens on the cheerleading squad, all of whom will be going to Orlando for the nationals in February. Those costs will be covered with their award money they received in the contests.
