The Blackman girls have reached the state championship game for the first time in school history, defeated Mt. Juliet 55-46 in the semifinals. The Lady Bears pounded the ball inside and Blackman had to use a lot of players to defend the post. Crystal Dangerfield had 22 points for the Lady Blaze, Meme Jackson added 14. Blackman will take on Ridgeway, out of Memphis, in the state title game Saturday afternoon at 2pm.
