Blackman Girls Reach Championship Game

The Blackman girls have reached the state championship game for the first time in school history, defeated Mt. Juliet 55-46 in the semifinals. The Lady Bears pounded the ball inside and Blackman had to use a lot of players to defend the post. Crystal Dangerfield had 22 points for the Lady Blaze, Meme Jackson added 14. Blackman will take on Ridgeway, out of Memphis, in the state title game Saturday afternoon at 2pm. WGNS State Farm coverage begins at 1:35 with the DirecTV by EnterSource Pregame Show. During that, Bryan Barrett will talk to Coach Hibdon about the Mt. Juliet win and look ahead to the game with Ridgeway for the state championship.
