Blue Raiders Beat Mean Green

An explosive offensive performance coupled with stout defensive play helped Middle Tennessee to a 38-21 rout of North Texas on Saturday afternoon at Floyd Stadium. The Blue Raiders played sharp offensively in their black helmets and uniforms, totaling 448 yards on the day. MT forced four Mean Green turnovers to secure their third conference win. For the third time under head coach Rick Stockstill, the Raiders reached five wins in eight contests. Middle Tennessee has a short week of preparation as the Blue Raiders travel up I-65 to visit rival Western Kentucky this Thursday. Kickoff is slated for 8:15 p.m., with a 7:15 pregame here on WGNS.
