Boaters, Remember Lifejackets

The unofficial start to summer is officially underway. This sends boaters to nearby lakes. TWRA officials remind boaters lifejackets must at least be on board vessels and wearing them is highly recommended. For those getting out of the boat to take a swim, it's recommended to stay close to the vessel and make sure before heading back to the dock everyone is back onboard. It's easy to get distracted and possibly leave someone in the water. Taking a head count before heading back to shore can be helpful.
