Bonnaroo is now prepared for any emergancy situation after training event

In nearby Manchester a simulated disaster at the Bonnaroo grounds was reviewed Thursday by emergency personnel. The enactment was conducted in the meeting room of the county office building and was narrated by Coffee County Emergency Management Agency Director Allen Lendley.

Included in the exercise were officials with Bonnaroo, the area hospitals, ambulance service, fire and rescue personnel, as well as law enforcement. There were also officials with the federal Homeland Security agency. They reviewed a simulated emergency situation and all personnel would respond to such an event. All of those involved felt that the exercise was good on how to deal with situations.
