Branches Counseling Center was recently awarded a generous gift from the Cody Sanders Foundation, Gallatin , Tennessee. The Foundation was established after the untimely death of Cody Sanders, a young man from that city.

Sanders was successfully overcoming a substance addiction when he died of natural causes in 2006. Since then the Cody Sanders Foundation has promoted sobriety awareness and has raised money for numerous rehabilitation and recovery facilities in Middle Tennessee. After several years the Foundation decided to close. One of the foundation's final acts was to recognize the excellent work that Branches Counseling Center has done to promote wholeness and mental health in middle Tennessee . Pictured with the grant check are Crissy Tuttle, one of the foundation founders and the sister of Cody Sanders, and Dr. Mike Courtney , founder and Executive Director of Branches Counseling Center .
