Brittany Montgomery Joins Staff at Local United Way

Brittany Montgomery has joined the staff of the United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties as the Community Impact Manager.

Brittany's role, which is new for the organization, will primarily focus on early childhood and youth initiatives within United Way's community impact department, including the Books from Birth program. The local United Way recently adopted Rutherford County Books from Birth as an internal initiative.

Brittany comes to United Way after having served as the Unit Director for the Boys & Girls Club in Bedford County, and prior to that she served as the Education Director/Volunteer Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club in Murfreesboro. She is also a previous "Volunteer of the Month" for United Way.

Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University in psychology.

Meagan Flippin, President and CEO of United Way, said, "Brittany comes highly recommended from various community leaders, and in my own personal interaction with Brittany I have known her to be an incredibly intelligent and talented professional with superior relationship-building skills."
