What was thought to be fireworks turns out to be gunfire. Murfreesboro Police were called to a home in the 21-hundred block of Stoney Meadow Drive after the property owner, 38-year old Shannon King, told them she found a bullet in her roof. King said they'd been outside, shooting fireworks on July 4th and heard a banging noise on the roof of her patio. She thought it was a firework hitting the roof. It wasn't until Friday that she noticed a hole in the patio roof and found a bullet laying next to the hole.
