Businesses on North Maple at Burton Streets have Moved to make way for new Court Building in Murfreesboro

Rutherford County is moving closer and closer to breaking ground on a new Judicial Center. The proposed court building will be built across the street from the health department and next to the County Clerk's Office.

Businesses on the property where the constriction will take place have already closed. The soon to be fully vacant structures will be torn down in January. Rutherford County Mayor Ernest Burgess told WGNS that security in the soon to be built court building will be a top priority...

The new building will be at least 6-floors high. A completion date for construction has not been set.
