Car Jacking Suspect Shot by Police in Smyrna

PrintThe Smyrna Police Officer who shot a car-jacking suspect is on routine administrative leave. The incident occurred after a pursuit that started in Nashville and ended in Smyrna. The suspect, Miguel Mayers is in stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center after his run in with the law. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are investigating the incident that occurred on Sunday morning.
