Changes for the Murfreesboro Sign Ordinance

Following numerous public meetings between the Planning Commission and Murfreesboro City staff and subsequent revisions to the originally proposed City Sign Ordinance amendments, the City of Murfreesboro will conduct a Public Meeting to review changes and answer questions from business owners and interested citizens.

The Public Meeting is for the purpose of reviewing the revised amendments being proposed to the City Sign Ordinance concerning Temporary Signs and Exempt Signs.

Who: Business owners, sign companies, realtors, homebuilders, and members of the community are invited to participate and attend.

What: Residents, business owners, and interested community members will gather to ask questions and review newly revised Sign Ordinance amendments at a Stakeholders Meeting hosted by the City of Murfreesboro. Representatives from the Planning & Building & Codes departments will be available to provide details and answer questions.

When: Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Where: Council Chambers, City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-1139

The Proposed Sign Ordinance Amendments concerning Temporary Signs and Exempt Signs are available for review on the City website. Changes from the version considered by Planning Commission at the April 1 Public Hearing are highlighted in yellow.
