$19,750 was reported as being fraudulently taken from St. Rose Catholic Church in Murfreesboro. The money was evidently taken by way of a wire transfer after an email at the church was hacked.

The wire transfer took place in February and was sent to a bank in Chestertown, Maryland. The account that the money went to was that of a rural Worton, Maryland resident. Murfreesboro Police have the name and address of the person who the checking account is registered to in Maryland.
