All these stores are looking towards selling wine on July 1st this year. City Council voted unanimously in favor for the certificate of compliance.

Back in 2014, the state legislature approved a bill sponsored by State Senator Bill Ketron to allow the sale of wine in grocery stores. As part of the law, local governments must issue the certificates for the stores to be licensed by the state.

Voters in Murfreesboro and Smyrna approved referendums that will permit sale of wine in grocery stores.
