(MURFREESBORO) - WGNS reported Rutherford County School students would have TCAP scores reflected in their final report card, which will be given to students Thursday. We did find out from Murfreesboro City Schools spokesperson Lisa Trail that the system received a special waiver from the state and report cards went home without TCAP scores. Their school year ended last week, which was before the state had TCAP scores ready. There was a delay in the scoring of the tests and about 100 school systems across the state asked for a waiver to not include the scores. Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County were two of them. As we reported earlier, Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans says since they received the results last Friday, they would have time to get report cards ready to give to students on Thursday.
