Nine weeks after being admitted into Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with collapsed lungs, a complication from knee surgery, a 16-year old Riverdale baseball player is home. Clay Riggs left the hospital Thursday. For much of his time at the hospital, he was on a ventilator and feeding tubes. Warriors baseball coach Barry Messer says his six-foot-eight pitcher was never far from the hearts of the this season...

Riverdale baseball players have been wearing a sticker with his number 24 on their helmets all season. Riggs still has a long road to recovery, but that will be made easier with the help and support of his family, friends and teammates.
