The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce coordinated a ribbon cutting Friday morning to celebrate the merger of Farmer Brothers Insurance with the Murfreesboro Insurance Agency. The merger creates  one of the area's largest, independent and locally owned agencies.

Doron Claiborne said, "This merger will allow us to have a wider selection of insurance companies to offer clients, and to better serve the community."
