Local resident and volunteer Ed Grimes confirmed that the Coldest Nights Emergency Shelter will once again be open over the next several evenings in Murfreesboro. The forecast continues to show temperatures to be in the 20's on Wednesday night and possibly on Thursday evening.

Coldest Nights is a drop-in emergency shelter program for homeless men in the community that is open only when low temperatures are forecast to be below 30 degrees. It is a health and safety resource for homeless men that cannot otherwise get into the existing shelters in our community (Salvation Army or Room in the Inn) for any reason.
