A company installing fiber optic lines in Murfreesboro accidentally hit an Atmos Energy gas line. The mishap occurred as the company was digging into the ground in a residential area. The line will cost over $1,000 to repair the mistake.

The incident happened on Tortuga Court in the area of Bradyville Pike. So, if you were without gas on Tuesday... now you know why.
