The owner of a local audio company has reported to police that an ex-employee used a company credit card and company checks for her own personal use. The checks and credit card bills added up to nearly $10,000.
To make matters more serious, the Murfreesboro company told officers that the former worker had no signature authority over the checks. In other words, she wrongfully signed the checks for her own gain, according to a report filed earlier this week.
The theft is documented and the case is under investigation. At this point, the 24-year old woman has not been arrested.
