The Director of Missions with the local Concord Baptist Association passed away. David Pittman lost his battle with cancer at the age of 65. He leaves behind his wife, Janice and daughters Katie Womack, Becky Reynolds and Audrey Owens along with several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church this Saturday. Visitation from 10am until noon, with a celebration of life service to follow. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to the Concord Baptist Association Missions Ministry Assistance Fund. The Concord Baptist Association is composed of Southern Baptist Churches in this area and subscribe to the faith and practices of the Tennessee Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.
